this site collects email addresses when you sign up for things - the newsletter, a free pdf, a waitlist. that's it. no tracking cookies, no analytics, no surveillance. this page explains what happens to your email and what rights you have over it.

who runs this site.

this site is run by zuza zuber, trading as the unperforming coach. based in Portugal.

data controller for anything you submit here: zuza zuber. for any privacy question, write to contact@zuzazuber.com.

what data is collected.

only what you give. when you fill in a form on this site - to download a free pdf, join a waitlist, or subscribe to the newsletter - your email is collected. on some forms, your first name too.

once your email reaches MailerLite (the email service that sends emails on my behalf), MailerLite also records:

  • your IP address

    and an approximate location derived from it.

  • the date and time

    you subscribed.

  • which form you used

    so it's clear what you signed up for.

that information exists for one reason: to prove you actually consented to receive emails. it's not used for marketing or profiling.

why it's collected.

to send you the thing you signed up for. that might be a free pdf, a weekly newsletter, or waitlist updates for a camp or course.

the legal basis for processing your data is your consent - given when you submit a form that clearly says what you're signing up for.

who else touches your data.

two services help me run this site. both are GDPR-compliant.

  • MailerLite

    the email marketing platform that stores subscriber data and sends emails. their privacy policy: mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy

  • Netlify

    the host that serves this website. server logs may include your IP address. their privacy policy: netlify.com/privacy

your data is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own marketing. it's only shared with the two processors above, only for the purposes described.

how long the data is kept.

your subscriber data is kept as long as you're subscribed. when you unsubscribe, your email is removed from active sending lists.

MailerLite may keep a record of past subscribers for a limited period for their own legal and compliance reasons - their policy covers that.

your rights.

under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access

    ask for a copy of the data held about you.

  • rectification

    ask for incorrect data to be fixed.

  • erasure

    ask for your data to be deleted.

  • restrict processing

    ask that your data stops being used in certain ways while a question is being resolved.

  • data portability

    get your data in a format you can take elsewhere.

  • withdraw consent

    at any time. every email has an unsubscribe link. or write to contact@zuzazuber.com and i'll handle it.

  • complain

    to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt if you think your data is being mishandled.

cookies.

this site doesn't use tracking cookies. no analytics, no behavioural tracking, no third-party pixels. that's why there's no cookie banner.

if that ever changes, this policy will be updated and a clear notice will appear on the site.

changes to this policy.

this policy may be updated when something material changes - new processors, new types of data, anything that affects you. the date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
